Born on December 6, 1962 in Lincoln, Nebraska, Janine Turner (born Janine Loraine Gauntt) is an American actress. Janine left her home at the age of 15, to pursue a career in modeling, where she joined the New York modeling agency Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. She made her Hollywood debut in 1982 with the comedy film Young Doctors in Love. Janine was seen in the 1993 action adventure film Cliffhanger. She played the role of Mrs. Thomas, in the 2016 movie Occupy Texas.
