Janus Metz is an award-winning Danish film and documentary director. He is best known for directing the acclaimed documentary Armadillo (2010), which won several international awards including a Critics Week Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival and the Danish Film Critics Association's prestigious Bodil Award for Best Documentary. In 2017, Metz made his feature film directorial debut with the biographical sports drama Borg vs McEnroe, for which he won the Camerimage Award for Best Directorial Debut.
