Co-founder of Black & Blu Entertainment with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal is an American producer who began his career with the comedy film Dunston Checks In, in 1996. Associated with The Equalizer in 2014, he is also part of the sequel, The Equalizer 2 (2018), starring Denzel Washington.

His other notable work includes Bio-Dome (1996), which he also co-wrote, Alex & Emma (2003), The Pursuit of Happyness (2006), The Back-up Plan (2010), Sex Tape (2014), Southpaw (2015), Prototype (2016), and The Upside (2017). His 2019 releases include the horror movie The Vigil.
