Javed Hussain Khan:Chishti Raagi, son of Rafi Ahmad is also an accomplished sufiana classical style singer of Qawwali. His early training of Qawwali singing started at the tender age of 8 years under the guidance of his nana Ikhlas Hussain who was also alike Qawwal of Astana Sufiana-e-Ikram and named Raza Ali Khan Sahab. His party was famous with the introduction of Rampur Gharana throughout India as well as foreign countries organized by Government institution and prestigious social and cultural organizations. He has exclusive style of presentation in sufiana classical qawwali singing. He is a young & energetic performing artist and has an aim of developing & popularizing this style in the world thereby provoking interest of people from various countries in Indian classical sufiana qawwali. The title of 'Chishti Raagi' was awarded to them from 'Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya' Delhi. He was 'A' class artist of All India Radio. He has recited the verse of Hafiz Sherazi and Ameer Khusro also of Hazrat Jami and Hazrat Shams Tabrez etc, on various occasions.
