Jay Shah is a Gujarati film producer and entrepreneur with a background spanning business operations and independent cinema. Jay Shah co-founded November Films alongside Anish Shah and Kuldip Patel, a production banner built on making meaningful, market-aware Gujarati cinema. His debut as a producer came with Dhunki (2019), a Gujarati drama directed by Anish Shah, centered on two young entrepreneurs navigating startup life and personal sacrifice. The film was self-funded by the core team and received positive critical reception, earning 3.5/5 from The Times of India and winning the Best Gujarati Film award at the India Film Festival of Alberta 2020.

He continued producing under November Films with Udan Chhoo (2024), a family drama directed by Anish Shah that earned strong audience appreciation for its warmth and craft.

With Dharpakad (2026), Jay Shah steps into new territory as a producer: Gujarat's first film centered on the growing menace of digital arrest scams. Produced under the joint banner of Indira Motion Pictures and November Films, the film stars Mallhar Thakar, Prashant Barot, Shruhad Goswami, Pratik Rathod, and Jay Bhatt, and releases theatrically on May 15, 2026.
