Jaya Prakash Reddy was an Indian actor, who works primarily in the Telugu film industry. He made his debut with the film, Brahma Puthrudu (1978), but he came into the limelight with his exceptional performance in Samarasimha Reddy (1999). His other notable performances can be seen in movies like Jayam Manade Raa (2000), Chennakeshava Reddy (2002), Krishna (2008), Oosaravelli (2011), Autonagar Surya (2014), Anaganga Oka Chitram (2015), Lachimdeviki O Lekkundhi (2016) Supreme (2016),and Meelo Evaru Kotiswarudu (2016). His 2017 releases include Kadapa Simham, Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Next Nuvve. His 2018 works include Inttelligent, Jamba Lakidi Pamba, Pantham and Nartanasala. The versatile actor passed away on 8 September 2020.
