Jayson Thiessen is a Canadian filmmaker, executive producer and animator who is best known for his association with the My Little Pony film and television franchise. Besides directing films like My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (2013), My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - Rainbow Rocks (2014) and My Little Pony: The Movie (2017), he has also worked in the animation department of tv shows like Martha Speaks, George of the Jungle and Stickin` Around. Other notable directorial credits include the shows Pucca and Peanuts Motion Comics.
