Jaywant Wadkar is an Indian actor, who made his debut with the film, Tezaab in 1988. He has worked in the Hindi and Marathi film industries. Jaywant made his Marathi acting debut with Ek Gadi Baaki Anadi (1988). Since then he has appeared in films like Sarfarosh (1999), Le Chal Apne Sang (2000), Gunaah (2002), Maqbool (2003) and Shikhar (2005), A Wednesday (2008), Detective Nani (2009), Dhava Dhav (2011), Zakaas (2011), Hou De Jarasa Ushir (2012), Sasu Cha Swayamwar (2013), Baby (2015), Welcome Zindagi (2015), Natsamrat (2016), Police Lines Ek Purna Satya (2016), Poshter Girl (2016), PhotoCopy (2016) and Tula Kalnnaar Nahi (2017). In 2017 Jaywant acted in director Sandeep Bhalachandra Patil`s comedy-drama, Dashakriya. The cast also includes Dilip Prabhavalkar, Aditi Deshpande, Manoj Joshi, Nandkishor Chougule and Milind Pathak in important roles. Dashakriya has won three National Awards and was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival. His next releases include Raja, Mithun, Be Eke Be, Jhangadutta and Tu Tithe Asave and Baba.
