An American TV and film writer and producer, Jeff Pinkner started his career in the entertainment industry as a writer for the popular TV series, Ally McBeal in 1998. He subsequently wrote for series` like Profiler (1998-2000), Ally (1999), Early Edition (1999-2000) and The Street (2000), which also marked his debut as a producer. Having established himself as an accomplished writer and producer in the TV industry, he made his debut on the silver screen as a writer with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), which he co-wrote with Alex Kurtzman, Robert Orci and James Vanderbilt. His other notable films as a writer includes The 5th Wave (2016) and The Dark Tower (2017), an American science fiction western action horror film directed by Nikolaj Arcel. His other releases include Venom (2018) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019).
