Jeffrey Lau is one of the most successful directors in Hong Kong. He is best known for writing, directing and producing Hong Kong style comedy. Lau made his directorial debut with The Haunted Cop Shop. His film, Chinese Odyssey 2002, was voted Best 2002 Film by the Hong Kong Film Critics Society. His other prominent works include Kung Fu hustle, A Chinese Tall Story and Chungking Express.
