Best known for his role as Inspector ''Sharky''Finn in the police drama series Shark in the Park in the late 1980s, Jeffrey Thomas is an actor from New Zealand. Beginning his career with theater, Thomas became part of two long-running soap operas namely, Mercy Peak (2001) and Shortland Street (2004-2005). His role as Dr. William Kingsley in Mercy Peak fetched him the Best Actor award at the New Zealand Film and Television Awards in 2003. He collaborated with The Hobbit director, Peter Jackson in his mockumentary Forgotten Silver (1995), before he worked with him again in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in 2012. His other notable work includes Slow West (2015), The Dead Room (2015), The Light Between Oceans (2016) among others before he joined the cast of Adrift (2018).
