Jennifer Leann Carpenter is an American actor, best known for The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Battle in Seattle and Quarantine. Her acting career started as an actor in Broadway theatre. Carpenter became wide famous after playing Debra Morganon the Showtime drama series Dexter, for which she won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting actor on Television in 2009. She has also featured in movies like Seeking Justice (2010), The Factory (2012), The Devil`s Hand (2014), Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017), Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (2018) and Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion`s Revenge (2020).
