Best known for her work as a writer on the HBO TV series, Sex and the City (1998-2004) and the creator and writer of the ABC series, Men in Trees (2006-2008), Jenny Bicks is an American writer and television producer. She began her career as a writer with the 1993 TV series, It Had to Be You. Bicks went on to write for TV series like The 5 Mrs. Buchanans (1994-1995), Almost Perfect (1995-1996), The Naked Truth (1995-1998) and Dawson`s Creek (1998-2003). She made her debut as a screenwriter with What a Girl Wants in 2003, which was based on a play by William Douglas-Home. Bicks also wrote for The Big C (2010-2013) and worked on the screenplay of Rio 2 (2014). Bicks won a Primetime Emmy in 2001 for Outstanding Comedy Series Sex and the City, as a producer. In 2017 Michael Gracey directed The Greatest Showman, with a story by Bicks. She also worked on the screenplay of the movie with Bill Condon.
