Jessica Michelle Chastain is an American actress and film producer known for movies like The Tree of Life (2011), Zero Dark Thirty (2012) and The Help (2011). She made her acting debut with Dan Ireland`s Jolene (2008). One of her initial big breaks came when she played a young Rachel Singer in the espionage thriller The Debt (2010). The older Rachel was played by Dame Helen Mirren. Chastain followed it up with critically acclaimed movies like Jeff Nichols` Take Shelter (2011), Ralph Fiennes` Coriolanus (2011), Tate Taylor`s The Help (2011), Terrence Malick`s The Tree of Life (2011) and John Hillcoat`s Lawless (2012).
