A Canadian cinematographer, Jessica Lee Gagne widely works in short films. Having started her career working in short films like Moi non plus (2011), which marked her debut and Suzanne Lafrance (2012), she got her major breakthrough when she worked for a TV series named A Stranger in My Home (2013) before eventually making her debut in a feature film with the French film Malgre la nuit (2016). Her other notable film credits include Boundaries (2016) and Sweet Virginia (2017). Her 2017 release includes Daddy, a Hindi political crime drama directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. The film marks her maiden Bollywood venture.
