Jim Varney was an American actor and director, who has worked in numerous TV series and films. His notable films include The Beverly Hillbillies, Ernest Goes to Camp and Toy Story. He won the Daytime Emmy in an Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series Hey, Vern, It's Ernest in 1988. He died at early age of 50, on February 10, 2000.
