An engineer by qualification and an actor by passion, Jins Baskar made his debut in Malayalam cinema with a supporting role in the comedy-drama Swapna Sanchari (2011). Since then , he has appeared in character roles in over a dozen films, notable among which are the romantic drama Annayum Rasoolum (2013), the romantic comedy Ayal Njanalla (2015) and the suspense-thriller Y (2017). Among Jins' more recent acting credits are the comedy-drama Njan Marykutty (2018) and Maradona (2018).
