While studying at IIT Kharagpur, Jitendra Kumar took part in several plays which is when he was noticed by Biswapati Sarkar, one of The Viral Fever`s prominent writers. Later, he invited Jitendra to join TVF, which kickstarted his career in film and TV. Over the years Jitendra played several roles in various TVF web series and made a name for himself through the comedy sketches. Some of his notable works include Permanent Roommates (2014), TVF Bachelors (2017), and Kota Factory (2019). The latter gained him a lot more recognition. His film credits include Gone Kesh (2019) and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (2020).
