Entering the film industry in 1990 with the sci-fi horror film, Hardware, JoAnne Sellar is an English film producer. Her husband, Daniel Lupi is also a producer and they have a long working relationship with director Paul Thomas Anderson. In fact, they have served as producers almost his entire filmography, except Hard Eight (1996). Since then Sellar has produced movies like Dust Devil (1992), Lord of Illusions (1995), Boogie Nights (1997), Magnolia (1999), The Anniversary Party (2001), Punch-Drunk Love (2002), There Will Be Blood (2007), The Master (2012) and Inherent Vice (2014). In 2017 she produced Anderson's Phantom Thread. The movie has been nominated for eight Oscars, one of which is for Sellar in the Best Motion Picture of the Year category.
