John Fusco is an American screenwriter, producer, and television series creator born in Prospect, Connecticut. His screenplays include Crossroads (1986), Young Guns (1988), Young Guns II (1990), Thunderheart (1992), Hidalgo (2004), Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002), The Highwaymen (2019) and Spirit Untamed (2021). He is also the creator of the Netflix series Marco Polo (2014-2016). Fusco is also a blues musician and a prose fiction author.
