An English film director, film editor, and author, John Glenn is well-known in Hollywood for being associated with the James Bond film franchise from the 1960s to the 1980s. He made his foray in the industry as an editorial assistant in 1949, eventually making his directorial debut only in the year 1968 with television series The Man in a Suitcase, where he got the opportunity to direct one episode of the same. Apart from working in films like Superman (1978), he holds the position of being the only person to direct the most number of Bond films, when he directed all five films of the franchise in the 1980s.
