John Grisham is an American writer, producer and actor best known for his work on numerous films, television, novels and short stories. His notable works include A Time to Kill, The Firm and Runaway Jury. Prior to his writing career he was a tax attorney and a politician. As of 2012, his books had sold over 275 million copies worldwide. Grisham is one of only three authors to sell two million copies on a first printing.
