An alumnus of the American Film Institute Conservatory, John Gulesarian is best known for his association with the much-lauded indie romantic dramas Like Crazy (2011) and About Time (2013). His work in over a dozen films in the course of a career spanning over a decade earned Guleserian a spot in Complex Magazine`s "Underrated Cinematographers Poised to Make It Big" list in 2015.

The comedy-drama Transparent (2014-), Casual (2015-) and Friends from College (2017-) are among the cinematographer`s notable television credits. Other significant feature film credits include the romantic drama Before We Go (2014), the musical drama Song One (2014), the sex comedy The Overnight (2015), the romantic comedy-drama Love, Simon (2018) and Happiest Season (2020).
