An American music composer, John Powell is known for the haunting background scores he has composed for major motion pictures. With more than 40 movies under his belt, Powell is a music virtuoso. He has composed the soundtracks for The Bourne Identity series, Knight And Day (2010), Kung Fu Panda (2008) and Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016). In 2017, Powell composed the soundtrack for the animated movie Ferdinand. His other projects include Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), The Darkest Minds (2018), How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019), The Call Of The Wild (2020) and Locked Down (2021).
