The founder of Raintree Ventures and the former president of Legendary Entertainment, Jon Jashni has been associated with the production of over forty films in the course of his career. He started out in Hollywood as a production associate with the 1987 romantic comedy Roxanne, and subsequently worked in over half a dozen movies before joining Legendary Entertainment in 2006. The Hangover (2009), the fantasy drama Where the Wild Things Are (2009), the epic historical fantasy 300: Rise of an Empire (2014) and the biographical drama Straight Outta Compton (2015) are some of Jashni`s notable film credits as an executive producer.

His other significant film credits as a producer include the sci-fi action movie Pacific Rim (2013), Godzilla (2014), Kong: Skull Island (2017), Pacific Rim Uprising (2018), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021).
