An Independent film producer, Jonathan Cavendish is best known for producing films like Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) and the Bridget Jones films. Having started his career in the advertising industry, he was an integral part of the marketing team that launched the Channel 4, he later joined the Little Bird Productions in 1983 and was responsible for acclaimed titles such as Croupier (1998), Trauma (2004) and My Father's Den (2004).
In 2011, Cavendish founded The Imaginarium Studios along with actor and director Andy Serkis. He made his production with December Bride (1987) and over the years he produced more than 15 films and TV series'. Some of his other notable film credits includes A Man of No Importance (1994), St. Ives (1998), Ordinary Decent Criminal (2000), Marie and Bruce (2004), Bernard and Doris (2006), Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) and Breathe (2017), a biographical drama directed by Andy Serkis.
