Best remembered for his directorial debut The Kings of Summer, Jordan Vogt-Roberts is an American television and movie director. His debut movie was screened at the Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize. Before making his movie debut, he directed three episodes of the 2011 television series Death Valley. Roberts then directed the stand-up comedy film Nick Offerman: American Ham, which he also produced and wrote for in 2014. Directing the 2017 monster movie Kong: Skull Island, which is a reboot of the King Kong franchise, Roberts brought actors like Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, and Brie Larson together.
