Best known for his association with the horror genre, Joseph Bishara is an American musician, film score composer and actor. His work as a music director in the supernatural horror thriller Insidious (2010) earned Bishara a Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Score in 2012. The Conjuring (2013), Insidious: Chapter 3 (2013), Annabelle (2014) and The Conjuring 2 (2016) are some of the other notable titles in his discography. Bishara has also essayed secondary characters like the Lipstick-Face Demon in The Conjuring film universe.

More recently, the musician scored the music for the films The Curse of La Llorona (2019) and Annabelle Comes Home (2019).
