Josh Hutcherson is an American actor born in Union, Kentucky. He began his acting career at the age of 9 and appeared in the pilot episode of the series, House Blend. His first film debut was in Miracle Dogs (2003), where he played the lead role, Charlie Logan. Josh voiced the character of Markl, working alongside Christian Bale and Billy Crystal in the Academy Award nominated film Howl`s Moving Castle (2004). He claimed to fame with the commercially successful film Little Manhattan (2005) and consequently appeared in Zathura (2005), RV (2006), Bridge to Terabithia (2007), Firehouse Dog (2007),
Journey to the Centre of the Earth (2008), The Kids Are All Right (2010) and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012). Josh gained worldwide recognition after appearing as Peeta Mellark in
The Hunger Game (2012) and The Hunger Game: Catching Fire (2013). His performance received positive response from the audience. He also voiced the character of Nod in the animated action-adventure film Epic (2013). He was last seen in the movies, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014) and Escobar: Pardise Lost (2015).
