Joshua Close is a Canadian actor. He was introduced to acting during his senior year at Iroquois Ridge High School, following which he joined a local theatre group. Close made his theater debut in A Willful Act, where he portrayed the character of a 60s playboy. After graduating, he attended the Square Theatre School in New York. Close bagged his debut role in K-19: The Widowmaker(2002), which helped him launch his career in Hollywood. His career graph cemented when his role as Oliver in Jacob Tierney`s Twist (2003) garnered him critical appreciation, and consequently earned him recognition among top directors. Some of Joshua`s popular movies include The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005), Diary of the Dead (2008), The Unusuals (TV Series in 2009), In Their Skin (2012) and The Master (2012). His next movie, Kill the Messenger, is set to release this October 2014.
