Argentine-born American cinematographer Julio Macat has helmed the camera department of several iconic comedies over the years, notable among which are Home Alone (1990), Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Wedding Crashers (2005) and Pitch Perfect (2012). His extensive body of work spans over two decades, and has won him several accolades including honours at the Dublin International Film Festival and Emerging Cinematographer Awards.

Other significant film credits include Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), the coming-of-age romantic drama A Walk to Remember (2002), the black comedy crime film Horrible Bosses 2 (2014), Daddy`s Home (2015) and the comedy Life of the Party (2018).
