A popular personality in the American TV industry, June Diane Raphael is an American actress, comedian, and screenwriter. She is best known for her role in the comedy programs such as Burning Love, the Netflix series, Grace and Frankie and in films like Unfinished Business and Year One. An alumna of the prestigious NYU, Raphael studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts and Stella Adler Studio of Acting. After completing her studies at the NYU, Raphael collaborated with her best friend in college, Casey Wilson and together they went to study improvisational comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and later they ran two-women sketch show for many years.
It was while Raphael was working as a writer for the stage shows, she was hired by New Regency Pictures to write the film Bride Wars and she even inked a deal to create the pilot episode of the sitcom, UPN. Raphael started her acting career with the TV series with Ed (2002) where she played a supporting role. Over the next few years, she starred in more than 30 series'. Whilst she doing well in her career as a TV actress, Raphael also ventured into acting in feature films and made her debut on the silver screen with Zodiac (2007). Her other notable film credits include The Dry Land (2010), Girl Most Likely (2012), Bad Night (2015), The Disaster Artist (2017) and Blockers (2018), an American comedy directed by Kay Cannon.
