Jupitora Bhuyan is an Indian film and mobile theatre actress who works in the Assamese language. She has acted in a couple of Bihu VCD`s. Jupitora also played the female lead in Kohinoor Theatre, an Assamese Mobile theatre industry which is unique to Assam. She began her film career with Hiyar Dapunot Tumarei Sobi (2005). Since then she has acted in movies like Tomar Khabar (2011), Tumi Jodi Kuwa (2013) and Ajeyo (2014). Jupitora also starred in the National Award winning Assamese movie, Othello (2017). Ranjit Sarma is the story writer, while Hemanta Kumar Das made his directorial debut with this movie.
