Screenwriter-turned-filmmaker K. Chakravarthy started out in the industry as an assistant director, working in movies like Bommarillu (2006) and Parugu (2008) before graduating into screenwriting. The action comedy Balupu (2013), Power (2014) and the Jr. NTR starrer Jai Lava Kusa (2017) are some of Chakravarthy's notable film credits as a writer. In 2018, he made his directorial debut with the Gopichand starrer Pantham, which he also penned.
