K. K. Singh was a writer and director in hindi cinema. He won the filmfare award for best dialogue. Singh started his career with Raj Kapoor’s Prem Rog . He wrote for 24 films including the popular ones like Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Krantiveer, Tridev, Mere Jeevan Saathi, Pitaah, Jaanwar, Kurukshetra, Tirangaa, Talaash, Barsaat and Ek Rishtaa – The Bond of Love. He even wrote dialogues for a Bhojpuri film named Aulad, for which he was paid Rs 11 lakh, the highest amount paid to a writer in the industry.
