K L Praveen is a National Award winning Indian film editor who is best known for his work in the South Indian film industry. Since his feature film editorial debut in the 2007 sports comedy Chennai 600028, he has worked in over 50 films across all major South Indian film industries, most prominently in Tamil. A frequent collaborator of editor N.B. Srikanth, Praveen won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Editor for his work in Saroja (2008), and the National Film Award for Best Editor for his work in the neo-noir gangster film Aaranya Kaandam (2010). Significant film credits also include Mankatha (2011), Second Show (2012), Biriyani (2013), Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014), Madras (2014), Pasanga 2 (2015), Kabali (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu (2017), Party (2018) and Kaatrin Mozhi (2018).A National Film Award-winning editor, K.L. Significant film credits also include Mankatha (2011), Second Show (2012), Pasanga 2 (2015) and Kabali (2016). More recently, the editor was associated with the movies Kaatrin Mozhi (2018), Maharshi (2019), NGK (2019), Ninnu Veedani Needanu Nene (2019), Kadaram Kondan (2019), Vadaladu (2019) and Jaanu (2020). His 2021 releases include Maanaadu and Malaysia To Amnesia.
