K. S. R. Das was an Indian film director and film editor. He worked on over 40 films, primarily working in the Telugu and Kannada film industries. Many of his works went on to become blockbusters. He made his directorial debut with 1966 film Loguttu Perumallakeruka. Over the years he worked with superstars like N. T. Rama Rao, Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth. Rani Aur Jani (1973), Kartavya (1985) and Nanna Prathigne (1985) are some of his popular films. Mosagallaku Mosagadu (1971) was dubbed in several other languages and even garnered recognition as a trendsetter. Das passed away in June 2012.
