Child artist Kabir Sajid is perhaps best known for essaying the role of Guddu in the Bollywood blockbuster Secret Superstar (2017). The young actor first rose to prominence courtesy of his starring role in the acclaimed web series Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa (2016), which tackled sexuality and sex-related themes in the form of humorous conversations between a kid and his father. In 2018, Kabir starred alongside Naseeruddin Shah and Sonali Kulkarni in the comedy-drama film Hope Aur Hum, which was written and directed by Sudip Bandyopadhyay.
