Kaleem Zafar, a talented actor, director, writer, lyricist, music composer, and acting coach, is also known as an expert on children's theatre. Born in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, he started his creative journey with the well-known group Sanket Rangtoli. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in acting from the Intercultural Theatre Institute, Singapore, and a Diploma in Dramatic Arts from the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama. His credits include serving as an actor-teacher in the National School of Drama Theatre in Education Company, New Delhi, and playing a proactive role at different national theatre festivals both as a performer and coordinator.

Away from the theatre, Kaleem has left an on-screen footprint as well through work in Before Life After Death, Delhi Crime, and Matto Ki Cycle. In his next release Lalaat, he not only performed but also acted as an acting coach to Sagarika Ghatke. Having a passion for arts education, he has written songs for stage plays and continues to teach at Barry John Acting Studio, Mumbai. Being the founder trustee of ''Own Spac'' trust, he continues to work towards furthering arts and culture.
