Kalyani Voleti is a Conceptual Origami Artist, a Visual Arts Educator who finds Origami to be the perfect tool for the classroom, to teach abstract academic concepts; soft skills like self learning, communication, discovery; as well as a therapeutic tool to deal with concentration and anger management. She believes origami can be used to teach values and ethics and is always looking to integrate them into her lessons. She has exhibited her conceptual origami creations at the Japan Foundation in New Delhi and at the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad. Her ongoing Origami Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi has traveled to over 25 countries till date, from Siberia to Australia, USA to Japan.
