Kamal Kishore Pal is a dynamic, Delhi-based theatre practitioner who has dedicated over a decade to the craft of storytelling across Indian stages and screens. Transitioning seamlessly between the roles of director, actor, entrepreneur, and now playwright, his work is defined by a deep understanding of performance mechanics and a keen eye for intense, atmospheric narrative.
Kamals artistic journey is rooted in a unique blend of analytical precision and creative passion. After earning his B.Tech degree in Jaipur, he chose to follow his true calling in the performing arts. He honed his craft from the ground up, assisting and collaborating with several of India's most revered theatre veterans. This rigorous, hands-on mentorship across the country allowed him to absorb diverse theatrical traditions and master the complexities of large-scale stage production.
As a powerhouse on stage, Kamal has performed as an actor in over 200 shows and 20 major plays across the length and breadth of India. Beyond the stage, he has expanded his reach into the screen industry in Mumbai, working on numerous ad commercials, television projects, and web series. His extensive performance background is complemented by his vision as a director, having helmed numerous acclaimed productions that challenge conventional boundaries. Driven by a desire to give back to the community, he has also conducted specialized acting workshops for performers all over India, bridging the gap between raw instinct and disciplined stagecraft.
He is the visionary Founder and Artistic Director of Ash & Wings Theatre Company, a prominent platform dedicated to producing bold, high-impact theatrical work.
