Winner of the 2009 Indian Telly Jury Award for Best Story Writer and Best Screenplay Writer, Kamal Pandey is an Indian writer of films and television. He has contributed as a dialogue writer for movies such as Shakti: The Power (2002), Run (2004), and Fox (2009). As a story writer, his credits include Tom, Dick, and Harry (2006), Shagird (2011), and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2011).

In 2012, he created the TV series Kaali: Ek Punar Avatar which was aired on the Star Plus Network. Kamal`s 2017 release includes the movie Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda. His 2019 release includes Milan Talkies, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
