Indian actress Kamalini is well-known for working in various films across languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali and Kannada. After completing her graduation with a degree in English literature, Kamalini did a workshop on theatre and subsequently made her debut in Phir Milenge in 2004. Her claim to fame was the Telugu film Anand, which won multiple awards.

Her cinematic journey started off with the Telugu film Style (2006), she made her Tamil debut in the film Vettiyadu Velliyadu, Kutty Srank (2009), her Bengali debut came with the film Aparajita Tumi (2012) followed by Shirdi Sai in the same year. She has also starred in the films Govindudu Andarivadele (2014), Iraivi (2016), and Pulimurugan (2016), among a plethora of other movies.
