Kamleshwar a.k.a. Kamleshwar Prasad Saxena, was a Hindi writer, Dialogue writer and scriptwriter for Hindi films and television. He was born on January 06, 1932 in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, India and died on January 27, 2007 in Faridabad, India. He has written dialogue and scripts for numerous Hindi films such as Laila, Aandhi, Mausam, Chhoti Si Baat and Rang Birangi. He was presented with Sahitya Akademi Award in 2003 for his Hindi novel, ‘Kitne Pakistan’ and honored with Padma Bhushan by Government of India in 2005.
