Karan Vishwanath Kashyap is an Indian film director, making his directorial debut with the film Sab Kushal Mangal starring Akshaye Khanna and Riva Kishan. Kashyap started off as a script supervisor on the 2002 film Saathiya starring Vivek Oberoi and directed by Shaad Ali and written by Mani Ratnam. He went on to perform the role of assistant dialogue writer, script supervisor and first assistant director on the 2006 film Don starring Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The film was directed by Farhan Akhtar. He did the secondary casting for the 2005 film Bluffmaster and was the associate director on Bunty Aur Babli and Chak De India.
