Karl Malden was an American actor, known for his work in the film The Streets of San Francisco. He has worked over fifty films in the Hollywood industry. He made his film debut with the film They Knew What They Wanted in 1940. He received a numerous prestigious awards such as Oscar and Primetime Emmy. His other film credits include On the Waterfront and Patton. He died on July 1, 2009 in Los Angeles.
