Cinematographer Karsten Gopinath is primarily known for cranking the camera for the 2012 dance film Step Up Revolution. Besides this, he has also been associated with a number of music videos featuring artists like Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent and Beyonce; and has been nominated twice for the MTV Video Music Award for Best Cinematography. Other significant film credits include the indie drama The River Why (2010), the romantic drama Midnight Sun (2018) and the sports comedy Uncle Drew (2018).
