Kate Box is an Australian stage, film, and television actress, born in Adelaide, South Australia, known for her roles as Nicole Vergas in Rake (2010) and Lou Kelly in Wentworth (2013). A graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Box made her stage debut in 2004 in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Bell Shakespeare Company, with further theatre credits including Top Girls, Dolores, Macbeth, and A Christmas Carol, earning a Helpmann Award nomination for Top Girls. In 2014, she was nominated for an AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for The Little Death, and won an AACTA Award for the television film Riot.
