Kaushal Shah is an Indian actor, producer and director, who works mainly in the Gujarati film industry. One of his earliest roles saw him play a young Dushasana in Ravi Chopra's magnum-opus TV series, Mahabharat (1988-1990) on DD National. Over the years Kaushal has starred in the TV show, Hamari Devrani (2008-2012), and also been a part of Gujarati plays like Be Lal Na Raja (2005), Sasariyu Sona Ni Khaan (2008), Bahar Aav Tari Bairi Batavu (2013) and Bolya Be Bol Khuli Gai Pol (2014). Kaushal turned a director with the 2008 movie, Parmeshwar Aaram Ma Che. He has also served as a producer on Gujarati plays like Ne Bachu Bachi Gayo (2008) and Ek Chatur Naar (2009). In 2017 Kaushal acted in the romantic-drama, Hu Tara Ishq Ma. The movie, directed by the debutant director duo, Raj Boricha and Chanda Patel, also has Priya Soni, Suraj Kumar and Sahil Shaikh in important roles.
