Kaushik Chakraborty started his career as an executive producer and was associated with the 2011 Bengali drama Ajob Prem Ebong..., following which, in 2012, he went on to be credited as the lyricist of Doshhomi. Making his debut as a producer, story writer, music director, and actor, Kaushik was a part of the 2014 Bengali drama Aranyer Itikatha, which featured Zenia Deb in the lead opposite him. Post his acting debut, Kaushik went on to appear in several Bengali movies such as Ghuri - The Kite, Jaan Baaz, E Ki Labanya, and Ray.
